AM: Newcastle Rovers join the Sky Bet Championship!
Following the quick application process, and a vote from FA board members at Wembley, a new club is created, and in the process making Newcastle a two club city for the first time since 1892.

The group, led by a consortium of disgruntled wealthy Newcastle United fans, had appealed to the FA to allow the creation of the club, to give the people of the city their own club again. Citing the continued unpopular leadership of Mike Ashley at St James Park, and with the support of former Toon legend Alan Shearer amongst many other ex-players, Rovers won the vote by a land slide.

PM: Details of the new club are presented to the awaiting media and public. Plans for a new stadium have already been agreed and construction will begin immediately, in time for the 2014/2015 season. Until then the club will share the International Stadium with Gateshead. With no staff, players or employees the owners face a rush to ensure they have a team ready to compete in the coming season, all with a transfer budget of just 6 million and a wage budget of 100k p/w!
