FC Bayern save - multiple question thread

Hey all decided to finally post something after lurking around this site for 2 years nearly.
Not sure if this type of thing is allowed but rather than creating 3 different topics I just crammed everything into one.

I have been playing footie managers since CM 3. I bought Fm13 a while ago while it was on discount on Steam. Ability to now focus specific attributes while training made me want to turn my youth into stars using clubs facilities(I always just bought them). I have read few youth development guides but I still have some questions of my own.

I'm currently thinking of having about 4-7 youths floating about my 1st team. Is this number okay or maybe I'm focusing on too many youths?

I also have an excellent youth(according to my best scout anyways) coming to my FCB side during the January window. Here's a screenie:

Should I let him develop on his own? Or maybe focus his training on finishing/pace or something else?

Also what about these youths? Should I focus on anything?

Last season I've won the Bundesliga and was got knocked out of CL semi-finals in the shootouts by a lucky Madrid side. Reason behind them being lucky? Robben, Ribery, Muller, Dante were injured.
Which moves me onto my last question. Shaqiri after a decent 1st season at FCB is slowly turning into a beast. His form is already much better than last season. I might have overplayed him at times maybe but Ribery+Robben were out for most of the games. They both play well when fit but I can get wins without them. Would you hang onto them and use Shaqiri as a supersub? Or maybe selling them is a better option while I can still get decent quid for both?
